My journey as a student in PCCAES started when my parents decided to transfer me from my previous private school to where I am now, Pres. Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School, nearer to our new house and residency Batasan Hills Quezon City. I was in Grade 5 then, when I first met my new class adviser Ma'am Maria Julie Atienza, subject teachers and classmates under section Swallow. At first, I admit that I was really overwhelmed with everything that I had encountered here in my new school, a huge one, thousands of students, new uniforms, so many teachers, free books, free school supplies, no tuition fees to pay, new rules...everything were so NEW.

With all of those changes, I admit that I experienced struggles and challenges in catching up with the fast phase teaching and learnings. Though excited with so many new things, the fears and worries trigger and frightened me so much. To overcome those fears, I tried to be open and make new friends, I joined and participated in some school activities and program, MTAPP, Dance Number, Student Council Elections etc.  Academically, thought I will not make it to the Top Student's list...but guess what? I got the Top 4 spot since 1st to 3rd grading and made it to the Top 3 during school year-end 2023-2024. I am so much overjoyed with my achievement. Once again, I made my parents proud. Thank you, God!

Grade 5 journey ends, and so here comes my 6th Grade family now. I am under section R. Duterte handled by our class adviser Ma'am Glenda Garcia. Again, new classmates and new teachers; however, they are more familiar this time, in fact, some of them were still my Grade 5 classmates. New excitement once again, a more challenging one, why? because most of my classmates now are also achievers and smart, active and competitive. My mom told me "No pressure, Anak", but knowing myself...I'll just simply give my best and strive hard up to the best that I can.

I know that my elementary days will end soon here in PCCAES, so I told myself to just have fun, enjoy every single moment with your classmates, take and keep all the learnings and memories to the next journey, treasure every achievement and always be grateful to all your mentors/teachers that had been so patient and great in sharing their knowledge and life experiences to their students.

And of course, to my soon to be alma mater...Pres. Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School, my salute! THANKS TO YOU!!! 💓😃
